Edith Marie Martinez, glass artist of Spokane, Washington, created AristoCat Glass Art Studio as inspired by her friend, Jackie, and her impromptu teacher, Cindy Summers, of Summers Glass in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Creating glass artwork, fusing, and slumping different colors, shapes, and textures of glass inspires me to live my life to the fullest and enjoy the beauty of each handcrafted project. Working with fused glass art offers endless possibilities of creating beautiful bowls, plates, plaques, tealight candle holders, and sun catchers.
I especially enjoy working with dichroic glass. A special form of glass that is exceptionally unique and beautiful. Creating beautiful necklaces, earrings, and refrigerator magnets is just the beginning!
